CHILI BEEF AND BISCUIT BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 can (10) buttermilk biscuits
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Brown and drain hamburger meat, onion, and green pepper. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, and garlic salt. Half each biscuit. Lay 10 halves in a greased baking dish. Spoon meat mixture over dough. Top with remaining 10 biscuit halves. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until cheese melts and biscuit browns.
