CHILI BEEF `N BISCUIT BAKE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 can refrigerated biscuits
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large frying pan, brown 1 pound ground beef, chopped onion and chopped pepper. Drain; stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt.

Simmer while preparing dough. Separate a can of biscuits; pull apart each one into 2 layers. Press 10 layers over bottom of ungreased 8 or 9 inch square baking pan or casserole. Spoon hot neat mixture over dough. Arrange remaining 10 layers on top. Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Refrigerate any leftovers.
