BEEF BISCUIT CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tbsp. instant minced onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 tsp. chili powder
18 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
18 oz. can buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 c. Monterey Jack cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten

Brown beef, onion and pepper in skillet. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt and simmer. Separate each biscuit into two layers. Place 10 biscuit halves on bottom of greased baking dish. Combine 1/2 cup cheese, sour cream and egg. Mix well. Remove meat from heat and stir in sour cream. Spoon over biscuits. Arrange remaining biscuit layer on top. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
