COFFEE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick-cook oatmeal
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Pour boiling water over oats; set aside. Cream sugars and 1/2 cup butter; add rest of ingredients. Add oats mixture.

Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Top with the topping, which has been mixed together (should be crumbled with fingers). Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
6 tbsp. soft butter
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash cinnamon
Chopped nuts
