SWEDISH CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. flour
1 rounded tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 pkg. sliced almonds

Melt butter. Stir in sugar. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour and baking powder. Add almond flavor. Put into greased and floured round pan or 10 1/4 inch iron frying pan. Sprinkle with sliced almonds. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
