1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar

1 egg, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. drained crushed pineapple
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Mix well. Drop by teaspoons on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. Makes 3 1/2 or 4 dozen.
