CHEESE STRAWS 
1 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter (unsalted)
1 c. finely shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. cold water

Sift flour and baking powder into bowl. Cut in butter and cheese as for pie crust using pastry cutter. Add water and mix well. Use pastry press with star shape and form into 1 inch strips on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 375°F for 8-10 minutes.

Yield 48-60 one inch straws.
