CHEESE STRAWS 
1 stick butter
2 c. grated sharp cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cayenne
1 tbsp. milk

Allow butter and cheese to stay at room temperature until soft and manageable. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and cayenne 2 or 3 times so the cayenne will be evenly distributed. Add butter and cheese mixture. Add milk a little more if dough is stiff.

Put through cookie press to form straws. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Don't let them get brown.
