CHOCOLATE ON CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 stick butter
4 tbsp.cocoa
1 c. oil (Mazola is good)
1 c. water
2 c. plain flour (do not sift)
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk

Heat butter, cocoa, oil and water together in a pan until butter is melted. Mix well. Do not boil. Airate the flour with fork and mix with sugar in a medium or larger bowl. Pour heated mixture over flour and sugar, add eggs and mix together. Dissolve soda in buttermilk, stir well, and add to batter. Pour into a greased and floured pan 9x13. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done.

Melt one stick butter, add 4 tbsp. cocoa, about 3 tbsp. milk, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1 box powdered sugar. Mix together until spreading consistency. Do not boil. Spread on hot cake. Chopped nuts may be sprinkled on top if desired. NOTE: Good to take to church dinners since you can leave it in pan.
