HERSHEY'S CHOCOLATE SYRUP CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add the flour mixture alternating with Hershey's syrup. Add vanilla and mix with mixer for 2 minutes.

Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350°F for 35 minutes. Ice with Chocolate Frosting.

Chocolate Frosting:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine butter, sugar and milk in saucepan. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Pour over warm cake. You may add 3/4 cup nuts to icing if desired.
