PAULA'S PLEAZIN CHEEZE DIP | |
1/4 c. finely chopped green onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon, crushed 1 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. cornstarch 3/4 c. beer or milk 2 c. shredded American cheese 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut up Tortilla chips In a saucepan, cook onion and garlic in butter. Stir in cornstarch. Add beer or milk all at once. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Gradually add cheese, stirring until melted. Serve over chips. Makes 2 cups. 16 servings. For a variety, add ground meat heavily seasoned with taco seasoning. |
