1 c. chopped dates
1 c. seedless raisins
2/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
2 eggs, beaten
1 (1 lb.) container chopped glazed fruits
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine in saucepan, first 5 ingredients. Boil gently for 3 minutes. Pour in large mixing bowl. Add fruit and nuts and eggs to mixture. Then add flour and spices listed below. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Pour into a large wax paper lined and greased pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
