BEACHCOMBER CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1 chopped onion 1 tbsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes 8 oz. shell macaroni 1 c. grated cheese 1 pkg. chili mix Break meat into 1 inch chunks. Lightly brown meat and onions in skillet, stirring now and then. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings. Stir in salt, pepper, chili mix and tomatoes. Cook macaroni in salted boiling water until just tender and drain. Lightly stir macaroni into meat mixture. Turn into a greased 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir several times while baking. |
