SKILLET BEEF AND BEANS | |
1/2 lb. sirloin beef 2 tbsp. oil 1 chopped onion 2 c. French beans, raw or frozen 1 c. celery, sliced 1 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 can mushrooms 3/4 c. liquid (juice from mushrooms) Cut beef in strips. Brown in oil. Add onion, beans and celery. Cook 4 to 6 minutes. Stir. Combine cornstarch with soy sauce and liquid. Add to skillet with mushrooms, stirring constantly. Stir until liquid is thick and shinny. Cover, cook until beans are tender. Serve with rice. |
