GRANDMA JANE'S BROWNIE PIE 
3 egg whites
Dash of salt
3/4 c. fine chocolate wafers, crumbled fine
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. cream, whipped

Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in crumbs, nuts and vanilla. Spread evenly in lightly buttered 9 inch pie plate. Bake in slow oven at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Spread top with whipped cream and a few chocolate wafer crumbs. Chill or preferably freeze at least 3 hours.
