1 c. walnuts, chopped
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 (20 oz.) can apple pie filling
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients together. Add eggs, oil, apple pie filling and vanilla and mix thoroughly. bake in 10-inch greased tube pan for about one hour and 10 minutes (electric oven) at 350 degrees. Do not remove from pan until completely cooled. Serves 12.

FROSTING:

6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. confectioners' sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon (I use 1 tsp.)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk

Whip ingredients until fluffy.
