PREACHER'S CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 level tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 c. nuts
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Mix dry ingredients, then add balance of mixture. Mix by hand. Bake in 9"x13" pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix cheese and butter, then add sugar, salt and vanilla. Add nuts last. Spread on cooled cake. (I sprinkle the nuts on top instead of adding to frosting.)
