FROSTED SALAD 
1 sm. pkg. lemon jello
3/4 c. hot water
1 c. cold water
2 bananas, cut up
1 flat can crushed pineapple (save juice)
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. flour
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. butter
8 lg. or 80 sm. marshmallows
Water
8 oz. Cool Whip

Make jello (first three ingredients). Add bananas and pineapple. Refrigerate to set. In double boiler, mix sugar, flour and small amount of pineapple juice. Add egg, butter and marshmallows and rest of juice to which water has been added to make 1 cup. Cook till thickened. Cool slightly and add Cool Whip. Fold together and pour over set jello.
