CUP CAKES FOR A CROWD 
1/2 c. butter
4 c. sugar
8 eggs, separated
4 c. flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
4 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Fold in beaten egg whites. Add vanilla. Line muffin tins with paper baking cups and fill about 1/2 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Ice tops.
