1/2 lb. butter 4 tbsp. powdered sugar 2 c. flour 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped walnuts Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add vanilla. Stir in the flour and walnuts. Make in small balls and flatten on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown in color, about 12 minutes. When cool, dip in powdered sugar. They are not sweet enough without this final sugaring. |
