TEXAS CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa

Mix flour, sugar, sour cream, salt, soda and eggs. Bring to a boil the butter, water and cocoa. Combine mixtures and pour in pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches. Bake at 350 degrees.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar

Add 1 cup pecans. Mix well. Ice cake as soon as you take it from the oven. Serves 25.
