SAND TARTS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. almonds, blanched and halved

Roll out dough to 1/8 inch. Cut with cutters or circle from drinking glass. Rub egg white on top of cookie, sprinkle with topping. Bake at 375 degrees.
