APPLE CRISP WITH ORANGE JUICE 
4 c. sliced pared apples
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Dash of salt
1/3 c. butter

Mound apples in buttered pie plate and pour orange over them. Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp. Serve warm with cream.
