APPLE CRISP WITH ORANGE JUICE 
4 c. sliced, pared tart apples
1/2 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Dash of salt
1/2 c. butter

Mound apples in buttered pie plate and pour orange juice over apples. Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is crisp. Serve warm with Cool Whip.
