PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
6 pork chops, 1 1/2 inch thick
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. chopped onions
1 c. bread crumbs
16 oz. can applesauce
3 tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. water

Trim fat off pork chops. Rub chops with mixture of salt and pepper. Dip chops into eggs and then into bread crumbs. Saute onions in melted butter. Add the chops and brown on both sides. Transfer chops to a casserole dish.

Mix together applesauce, water, steak sauce and sugar. Pour mixture over the chops. Bake for 50 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serves 6.
