CHOP SUEY CASSEROLE 
1 lb. pork steak
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. uncooked rice
1 1/2 c. carrots, diced
1 c. celery
1 med. onion
2 tbsp. LaChoy sauce
2 tbsp. molasses
4 c. cold water

Brown first four ingredients in frying pan. Place in casserole dish with remaining ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours. Cover for the first hour, remove cover and bake for remaining 2 hours.
