CHOP SUEY CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. diced celery
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can water
1 can mushrooms
1 can water chestnuts
Chow mein noodles
1 c. rice, cooked
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. soy sauce

Cook rice and set aside while preparing other ingredients. Brown meat, add celery and onion and let simmer 5 minutes. Add soy sauce, mushrooms, sliced water chestnuts and water.

Combine mixture with rice and put into casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes wit chow mein noodles on top. Serves about 12.
