CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE SQUARES 
CAKE:

1 pkg. Pillsbury plus devils food cake mix
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 beaten eggs

TOPPING;
1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine cake ingredients by hand until well blended; pour into greased 13"x9" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.

TOPPING: Just before removing cake from oven. Combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil, stirring continuously for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips immediately until melted. Pour this over the warm cake. Let it cool; then cut into bars.
