CAKE SQUARE FRUIT TOP 
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. lemon flavoring
2 c. flour
Cherry pie filling, or any flavor you desire

Cream butter; add sugar, a little at a time; cream well. Add 1 egg at a time, beat well with each egg. Add lemon flavoring and flour a little at a time and mix well. Spread in greased and floured jelly roll pan. Spread batter out even and top with cherry pie filling. Pick out cherries, put on top of batter, space out evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. 11" x 15" x 1/2" or 11" x 17" x 1" jelly roll pan.
