CAKE FRUIT SQUARES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
4 extra lg. eggs or 5 sm.
3 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. pie filling (Thank You brand)

Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time, beat one minute for each egg. Add vanilla. Add flour to mixture all at one time, mix at low speed. Batter will be thick. Spread in greased and floured 15 x 10 inch (jelly roll type) pan. Score batter into 20 sections, put 1 pound spoon of chilled pie filling into each square. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
