This recipe is great!! Very easy, wonderful powerful toffee flavor. A great change from your plain frosting.

DELICIOUS!! Easy to make for a beginner like me. I used evaporated milk because I had some I needed to use, and it was SO GOOD! Just remember if you want to pipe it, let it cool. (A more experienced cooker would know that, but I didn't wait long enough.) I think it would have piped if I waited for it to cool more.

This recipe is so worth it, it tastes like toffee and has all household ingredients. This is a must do on top of chocolate cupcakes. I LOVE it, 5 stars

This was a great recipe for beginners. I have never made homemade caramel before, and I have to say, this will not be my last. Do remember though, that if you're gong to use this icing, make the base more neutral, or less sweet because then the cupcake, (or whatever) will be waaay too sweet. Great recipe! Definitely recommended!

I probably haven't licked a bowl in more than fifty years, but I did today. This frosting is delicious! I used half and half instead of milk just because I had some, and I added a tiny bit of salt to cut a little bit of the sweetness.
