EASY BARBECUED PORK CHOPS AND
APPLES
 
6 lean, thick pork chops, 3/4"

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chops in a single layer in a shallow pan or cake dish. Leave little or no excess room.

In a bowl combine:

1 c. catsup
4 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Brush about half of sauce over pork chops. Cover tightly (foil is okay). Bake 1 1/2 hours or until tender in 350 degree oven. Slice 3 to 4 medium cooking apples over chops. Brush with remaining sauce. Cover tightly and return to oven. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
