CHILI BY TEX 
3 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
4 cans pinto beans, juice and all
3 sm. cans Hunt's tomato sauce
1 lg. can whole tomatoes, chopped
7 tbsp. flour
1 lg. onion, chopped fine
8 cloves garlic, chopped fine
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tbsp. chili powder

Brown meat, garlic and onions with 1 tablespoon chili powder. DRAIN GREASE. Add 1 can tomato sauce, stir well. Add flour, stir well. Put mixture in a large kettle (non-stick pan is best). Add beans, chopped tomatoes, 2 cans tomato sauce, 2 cans water and 3 tablespoons chili powder; stir well. Simmer for 2 hours over low heat, stir often but gently.

NOTE: This chili freezes very well.
