PORK BARBECUE
3 or 4 lb. roast pork shoulder, boned and skinned
1 tbsp. salt
Pepper to taste
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. yellow vinegar (you can halve this)

Place meat in slow cooker. Mix together, salt, pepper, water, sugar and vinegar; pour over meat. Cook on high setting for 1 hour, then cook for 12 hours on low setting. After it's cooked, chop up while still in slow cooker. Serve directly from slow cooker. Makes enough for 20-25 barbecue sandwiches.

Note: You may want to drain juice and save to add to meat when heating for leftovers.

This is a super easy recipe! You should have these ingredients in your kitchen already. Meat turned out excellent. I cooked mine 10hrs after the first one and flipped it half way. Started pulling it apart after and it actually taste rather good. It's not exactly award winning or makes you melt but it works! I am adding my favorite BBQ sauce and dinner is served!!! For the time of preparation and lack of skill it takes I say it's a quick and easy fix for the on-the-goer!
