KRAUTBURGERS 
2 lbs. hamburger
1 sm. onion
2 to 3 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
Generous cup quick oats

Make into patties, fry and drain.

1 sm. head of cabbage, shredded
1 lg. jar sauerkraut

Put half of hamburger patties in bottom of ovenproof dish, then 1/2 of cabbage then 1/2 of sauerkraut with juice. Repeat layers. Mix:

2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar

Pour over all. Bake 2 hours at 325 degrees.
