APPLE CRISP (MICROWAVE) 
5-6 c. sliced & peeled cooking apples
1/2 c. unsifted all purpose flour
1/2 c. rolled oats
3/4 c. finely packed brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter

In 2 quart (8"x8") baking dish, arrange apples. Combine flour, rolled oats, brown sugar and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of apples. Cook, uncovered 12 minutes or until apples are tender. If you prefer a more crunchy brown topping, place under broiler a few minutes. Serves 5 to 6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
