1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 pkg. Pillsbury plus cake (yellow mix or any with pudding in the mix)
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
3 eggs

(Use these ingredients only, don't follow directions on cake mix).

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan or Bundt pan (prefer). In small bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon; set aside. In large bowl blend cake mix, applesauce and eggs until moistened. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour 1/2 of batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with set aside granulated sugar and cinnamon mixture. Cover with remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle (center) of cake, comes out clean. COOL UPRIGHT IN PAN FOR 25 MINUTES. Turn onto serving plate.
