SPARE RIBS 
2 to 3 lbs. spare ribs
1 c. ketchup or chili
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
Garlic powder
1/2 med. onion
3 tbsp. brown sugar

Blanche, do not boil, spare ribs in boiling water for about 20 minutes, with a couple of celery sticks. Remove ribs and put in a pan.

Mix together the ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and brown sugar. Add spare ribs. Add sliced onion on top. Bake at 220 degrees for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
