FALL SPICE POUND CAKE 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
4 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (optional)
1/2 tsp. allspice (optional)

Make certain the butter is soft when you begin. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a Bundt pan or use non-stick spray (I use Baker's Joy).

Cream butter and sugar together. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder and spices. Mix milk and vanilla together. Beat eggs one by one into the sugar and butter, then alternately mix in the milk and flour mixtures.

Pour cake batter into prepared Bundt pan.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to an hour, or until a toothpick or knife stuck into the cake comes out clean.
