CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
3 tbsp. 10X powdered sugar
3 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. Kahlua or chocolate mint liqueur (opt.)
3 eggs
3 half pints whipping cream
2 pkgs. plain ladyfingers

Melt chocolate chips over hot water or by microwave oven. Add sugar, water, vanilla and liqueur.

Separate eggs and set whites aside. Gradually add egg yolks to chocolate mixture. Stir until smooth. Allow this mixture to cool.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold stiffened egg whites into cool chocolate mixture.

Beat whipping cream, saving 1 cup of whipping cream for decorating. Fold remaining cream into chocolate mixture.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
