AUNE'S FRENCH TOAST 
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
Dash nutmeg
12 slices bread

Mix all ingredients except bread to make smooth batter. Dip sliced bread in batter to cover thoroughly. Fry in butter until golden brown. Serve with syrup or powdered sugar.
