BUBBLE BREAD | |
2 loaves frozen bread dough 1 stick butter (1/2 c.) 1 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. milk 1 sm. box vanilla pudding (not instant) ICING: 1 stick butter 6 oz. cream cheese 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. Thaw each loaf of bread in microwave for 3 minutes on low or defrost. Cut into slices, then into 1/4's. Put bread 1/4's into pan. Melt butter in pot on stove. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, milk and pudding. When all mixed and melted together pour over bread 1/4's. Let rise for 2 hours (on counter). Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Preheated oven works best. Icing: Cream butter and cheese together. Add sugar and vanilla. If this is thick use milk to thin. Drizzle this on warm not hot bread. |
