SIX WEEK BRAN MUFFINS 
1 (15 oz.) box Raisin Bran or Bran Flakes
1 c. shortening (oil)
3 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
5 c. flour
1 qt. buttermilk
5 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 c. extra raisins

Mix oil, sugar, eggs and buttermilk. Mix flour, soda and salt. Then mix together and add Raisin Bran. Fill greased tins 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Store in covered container in refrigerator. Use as desired. Batter will keep for 6 weeks.
