BAKED BEANS WITH HAM 
1 lb. dried navy beans
Water to soak
1 clove garlic, minced
1 onion, sliced
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. light molasses
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 heaping tbsp. prepared mustard
Canned tomatoes or tomato juice
Ham shank

Soak beans overnight. Drain. Place ham shank in baking pot. Mix other ingredients (except tomatoes) and pour over ham. Add tomatoes using enough to cover bean mixture well.

Cover and bake at 325 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours until liquid is reduced. Remove ham shank, cut off meat and return meat to beans.
