Make 1 yellow cake mix according to package directions. While baking, dissolve 1 small package strawberry Jello in 1/2 cup boiling water. Add 1 1/2 cups strawberry soda.

Remove cake from oven. Make holes in surface with a fork. Pour hot Jello mixture over hot cake - spooning carefully into all indentations. Chill well.

FROSTING:

1 sm. instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. milk

Fold in 1 small carton Cool Whip. Frost cake with pudding mixture.
