2 c. water
1/2 c. salt

Food coloring (1 tbsp. for bright color)
1 tbsp. powder alum
2 to 3 tbsp. baby oil

2 1/2 c. flour

Dump out onto counter while still warm and knead until well blended. Store "play dough ball" in an airtight plastic bag.

This "play dough" recipe makes a great and inexpensive gift for any special occasion. Include cookie cutters, popsicle sticks, etc. to use for molding and shaping. A great way to occupy children!
