1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 c. flour
1 egg white
1 c. nuts, chopped
Preserves

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and beat. Dip in beaten egg white. Roll in chopped nuts, press center down slightly. Bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven. Depress centers to form "nests". Bake 10 minutes more. Cool and fill with preserves.
