Mix 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup butter. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 3 cups rolled oats, 1 cup coconut, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Drop on cookie sheet and cool. Push in center of cookie and put in 3 jelly beans as a nest. Makes 2 dozen.
