COCONUT-PEAR CRISP 
3 med. fresh pears, peeled, cored, and sliced or 1 (29 oz.) can pear halves, drained and sliced
1 1/4 c. milk
1 (4 serving) pkg. instant coconut cream pudding mix
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Arrange pears in an 8-inch round baking dish. In a bowl, combine the milk and half the pudding mix. Pour over pears. Stir together the remaining pudding mix, flour, walnuts, sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until the size of coarse crumbs.

Mix egg and vanilla. Stir into dry mixture until well combined. Crumble mixture over top of pears. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until top is golden.
