1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sour cream
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
2 c. coconut
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. In large bowl combine cake mix, butter, sour cream and eggs at low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at highest. Stir in nuts (optional).

Spread in prepared pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes (center will not be firm to touch).

In medium bowl, combine coconut and condensed milk; gently spoon and spread over partially baked base. Return to oven and bake 15-18 minutes or until golden light brown. Cool completely. Spread with your favorite chocolate butter frosting.
